 You know I had been searching for a church home for some years. My mom always told me when you find a home your spirit will let you know thats where you need to be. Bishop invited me to visit THE LIFE for almost 2yrs . Finally , I went and of coarse my spirit was on fire. It was like my whole body was just burning . I still wasnt too sure. I was thinking , maybe it was just a good sermon. The following sunday, I took my 5 sons with me. My oldest son who was 17 at the time, felt that burning in his soul as well. Upon his very first visit, he rededicated his life to christ and joined the church even before I did. That let me know .......I was home. Thank You New Life for allowing me into your lives and home. It is a wonderful place to be. Since I have lived in VA , I hadnt come across a church that you can feel The LORD GOD as soon as you walk threw the door. Again , Thank you from myself as well as my sons.

 My family has resently moved to Alexandria, VA and we have been visiting several different churches in the metropolitan area and have yet to feel the true spirit of God! I am a spirtual woman and I know the difference. We are members of Elevation Baptist Church w/ Pastor T. Carmicheal and he was always able to connect with his congregation. We intend to visit by referral from my assigned deacon who has a father here in VA that knows of this church and highly believe that we will not need to look any further.
