About The Life History

New Life Anointed Ministries International (NLAMI) was founded and established by the leading of the Holy Spirit upon his servant Pastor Eugene Reeves. The vision was to establish a ministry where the Holy Spirit would be free to operate in all the Gifts of the Spirit, and built upon the principal that the greatest among you is he that serves.

New Life began with five initial adult members, Pastor Eugene and Ollie Reeves their children Latashia and Demetrius, Anthony and Geneva Davis and Curtis Hall. The first service was held in Godwin Middle School on the 1st Sunday in November 1992. As 1992 ended, the membership at New Life had increased to 40 members; three Sunday School classes were formed (1 adult and 2 youth). The 1st Sunday in January 1993 marked the first official service of New Life Anointed Ministries and it's membership into the International Ministerial Alliance.

New Life moved out of Godwin Middle School to Ashdale Plaza in the spring of 1995 with 133 members. New Life continued to reach out to the community by assisting with the homeless shelter in Dale City; providing more than $5000.00 in food and clothing. Within 2 months, the Ashdale Plaza site was at its capacity of 200, and the building search committee continued looking for other alternatives. In the summer of 1996, God opened a door on the opposite end of Dale City in Mapledale Plaza.

New Life was able to impact the surrounding community through our outreach ministry. In a little over a year, the membership grew to over 300. Pastor Reeves established an Outreach Ministry that provided Ministry and lunches on the streets of Washington, DC once a month. New Life continued to help with assistance to the homeless shelter and provided food and clothing to those who came to the church for assistance.

In 1999, New Life Anointed Ministries International purchased a heavy machinery warehouse. Work began on its renovation and it was completed in May 2000. The dedication service was held in June 2003 with many of the Prince William County dignitaries present to help celebrate this grand occasion. The ministry quickly outgrew this location and its five year growth plan.

New Life has greatly affected the surrounding community. The Missions Ministry expanded to include Missionary trips to Africa, Italy and Brazil.Currently New Life has over 60 ministries that support the needs of the congregation and the community.

As of January 2011 membership at New Life has increased to more than 1,500 families. New Life purchased 22 acres of land to build a new 2,500 seat sanctuary.

All that has gone before does not compare to where God is directing Pastor Reeves to go with this Ministry.
