Developing a joy filled life!

I hoped you enjoyed the word "My blessings are about to overtake me".  Your birth was no mistake or accident, and your life is no fluke of nature.  Your parents may not have had you in mind, but God did, and he has a plan for you.  You are alive because God wanted to create you.  The purpose of your life is far greater than your own personal fulfillment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness.  It's far greater than your family, your career, or even your greatest dream.  If you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with G

Why Be Thankful

It is easy to ask why be thankful at times like this when unemployment is at a 40 year high and the housing market is in the tank. Then you look at Wall Street with bankers and CEO receiving all time high bonuses and the average person struggling just make monthly payments. These times call for us to really look to the source of our supply. Just like with Job, we have to remember it is God who gives it to us and God is in control of all things. When we do not know what tomorrow holds, it is always good to remember just how good God has been to us.

Uganda's pastors conference

Greetings from the motherland! We are in the great country of Unganda, one of the english speaking countries that were colonized by the England. As you can see on the clips we had a great time in the Lord, over 800 souls were saved during the revivals meetings and many pastors were encourged and enlighten about leadership during the morning sessions. This meeting started after a 5 hour bus ride that was filled with pot holes and many up's and downs, (a real ben-gay moment).

Africa Missions 2009 - Uganda

I know everyone is as excited about our missions trip as I am, anticipating all God is going to do through the team. I am anxious to share all that is happening here on the great continent of Africa. Our video postings have not been as quick due to the technology we have available, but I know you are anxious to see and hear how things are going and how we are impacting the lives of the people in Africa for Christ.

I look forward to sharing all the details of our trip. Here are some pictures to give you just a glimpse of how God is moving in the lives of the people of Uganda.

What About The Family?

You have heard it said many times that blood is thicker than water, yet most of the crimes of passion and hurt in our lives have come from family members. What has happened to, "I'll do anything for my family"? There was a time when if someone's mother was spoken of in a negative fashion the fight was on. That does not seem to be the case any longer. Today, it could be the mother who is actually causing the pain. The news is filled with examples of family members killing or committing some other terrible act against one another. What has happened to the family?
