I was told by my doctor that I have a bad case of Arthritis in the left knee and the only thing that will help me is a total knee replacement. I told him that is not an option for me, so he said I will have to live with the pain. I went to the Father and prayed. I have been wearing a brace because I could hardly walk. We started prayer here at The Life in the morning and on Wednesday when I came into the kitchen the Lord reminded me that I was walking straight and not holding on the things as I walked and I did not have the brace on. So from last week Wednesday (Nov 5, 2012) until this day, I have not worn the brace nor have I taken anything for pain. |

I went to cosmetology school in 1986-1987 and finish. Was working in a warehouse job to help with income until I could build up clients. Well I was in a accident and my thumb was taken off. I Stop doing hair that day. Now I went back to school to get my license and I have 13 days left in school. I thank God for blessing me. Next I wait for them to send me my paper to take the test. Well like Evangelist Reeves says, "you cannot tell it all in one day". May God bless you and your family. Much love. |

I praise God for New Life and the teaching that is being poured into me there. Several months ago I renewed a personal commitment to tyth everytime no matter what. Even when I had an increase in expenses I continued to be faithful. And God has blessed me in so many ways!! I completed the financial peace class and learned even more ways of increasing my faith and being a good steward. This year I have been able to purchase a new car I did not beleive I could afford. Was able to eliminate some debt and free up more money. And now I am back on course to complete my commitment to the building campaign. Bless the Lord! He is worthy. Thank God for New Life. |

Well in 2009 my husband and I lost our jobs. I immediately became a governement employee less than a month after. My husband on the other hand, had to go through a rebirthing period, which took 9 months before he started a new contract with the government. I am faithful in prayer, work, and tithing in the ministry. I know God works and with faith the size of a mustard seed He can move mountains. He moved mine.
This is a new year make a change. Fast, pray and live your life according to His will.
Thank God |

There is no doubt that we serve a great God, but there are times where everyone's faith will be tested. 2011 was a true test. Every area of my life was challenged. I call it a trifector. From downsizing to family member's and my own bouts with sickness. My relationship with my spouse and my relationship with my God. There were even financial challenges, with one thing after another breaking down. I know now that I needed to go through some things to take my faith in God to the next level. After feeling like I was about to loose it, day in and day out, I sought God on my face and sought to delight myself in His Word, and I was, praise God, able to hear once again.
The scriptures became clear to my ear once again. Ps. 34:19 says, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all." Though I still have some challenges, especially on my job, the lesson for me was and still is that God is faithful! |

On July 30, 2011 I had what the doctors first thought to be a heat stroke from working outside in the heat (104 degrees). After getting to the hospital and reports from the EMS team that when they got to me my heart had stopped and I had no pulse they diagnosed me with anoxic brain injury due to cardiac arrest. I was without oxygen for 20 mins and was said to be dead. I had a long hospital stay, was on life support for four days and because of the prayers of the saints, 45 days later I walked out of rehab on my own. I am according to the doctors not suppose to be here but God told me that he would take care of me. |

Six years ago I was in the midst of a traumatic divorce. My husband had abandoned me and my children. I had to give up everything and start all over. A friend came by one Sunday morning and said she was taking me to church and she brought me to New Life. I remember Bishop Reeves sermon was titled "Dont Borrow Tomorrow's Troubles". The message lifted me so, I left there a new person not afraid to move forward. Everyone was so welcoming I knew that this would be the place for me even though I had always been afriad of big churches growing up in a very small church New Life didn't seem big at all to me because there was a closeness amongst the members where everybody I met had me questioning whether or not I had met them before because they treated me like family. In the past six years I have not been a dilligent member in person but in my heart I know there is no other church for me. This morning I am coming back. I am coming back because God has brought me through some of the roughest moments of my life and like Job all that was taken from me has been restored more abundantly than before. Tomorrow I am closing on a beautiful new home that I purchased on my own. God has blessed me with my own business that is doing quite well and has put wonderful people in my life to remind me of the Love that God brings. This morning New Life I am so thankful and I can't think of any place else I would rather share my gratefulness than with all of you. Today I am declaring my intent to come back to New Life and be an active member and supporter of the church. I know that six years ago it was here that REALLY gave me NEW LIFE! |

Praise Report: My son is in college in Fort Valley Ga. Since July 2011, he's been told that he needs $3500.00 to complete his tuition for college or he had to be out by Thanksgiving 2011. Every time I call him he says "mom, I'm just waiting on God to step in and do what he do.". The school took away his food card and all access to events and activities. The week before Thanksgiving he went to the RA and told him that he's done everything and there's nothing left to do but pack his stuff and leave. The RA told him to talk to the president of the school first. My son Pierre went to the President of the school and they went over his file. The President called in the Vice President, who then called in the Counselor (that financial aid would not let Pierre talk to for 4 months, because he was not considered a student). The counselor viewed Pierre file and told Pierre to follow him to Financial aid. Pierre said that these were the same people giving him a hard time, from July til Nov. The counselor told financial aid to raise one of the loans from 2000 to $3000. Then another loan to increase by $2000. Then he said "can't we increase the Perkins loan from $500 to $1000. He looked at Pierre and said "son, go get your ID and Food Card. My son smiled, but you see, when God shows up, he SHOWS UP. The Couselor turned back to the financial aid person and said, " I tell you what, erase all those Late fees and charges. Then he looked at my son and said, I THINK YOU'RE GOING TO BE GETTING A REFUND CHECK. THANK YOU LORD!!!!!! Everything PAID IN FULL. |

My praise report starts from January when I had to go to the hospital, and was told it was kidney stones, when i went to see the specialist it was confirmed it was a cyst that had desolved and was told there was no damage....Praise God
Since then up to now.....my finances was attacked from a bill that was 12 years old and without my knowledge they garnished my pay and my take home pay (theywere taking almost $600 a month after taxes) was just enough to cover my rent and maybe 1 bill, I called creditors and let them know what was going on and I got favor, I tried to settle the debt but they didn't want to come down, after the blessings of friends helping me to go home and confront this enemy it would not die, i found myself getting angry with God and telling him about his word and He said no weapons formed against me shall prosper, after I told a friend what happened they talked to the debtors and talked them down less then what they were going to settle with me and they paid off my debt.....but the whole time going through this, my rent still got paid, i had gas in my car, food, bills all still taken care of GOD IS GOOD....(let me add that the creditor ended up sending me back 2 of the checks that they had taken from me).....He did not let His word return to me void....and MOST OF ALL I NEVER LOST MY FAITH, HOPE OR TRUST IN GOD. AMEN |

I give thanks and honor to God for saving my life. In May of 2001 my husband had a stroke and died. Recovery from that untimely event was slow and sorrowful. Just 4 months later in September of 2001, I was in the Pentagon on the E ring when the plane smashed into my office and totally destroyed it. Only the Grace of God allowed me to escape the fire and destruction of my office. Although my life was saved that day, I felt that I wasn't good enough for God to take me to be with Him for all eternity.
For the next nine years I self destructed and ended up weighing 300 lbs; I couldn't breath on my own without using portable oxygen 24/7; it was hard to breathe while walking so I had to use a scooter to get around. I had heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, lung disease and many other illnesses that I cant even remember. I wanted to die!
In 2009, I had phenomena and went into a coma for 2 weeks. In that coma, the Lord gave me detailed instructions on His plan for my life. I was instructed to follow them exactly. God wanted to fulfill all of my prayers as well. He showed me just how much he loved me and all I had to do was to be obedient.
I awoke from that coma with a renewed spirit. Since then, I lost over 100 lbs and I am now disease free. I immediately began implementing the instructions that the Lord had commanded me with total dedication to fulfilling His Will. I literally had to die to live again.
So when you see me dancing, I am rejoicing at the continued Grace and Mercy of God in my life! |
