Servant Leader and Marketplace Ministry are the phrases most commonly associated with the Ministry of Pastor Ron. He is married to his high school sweetheart Rachel (Rae-Rae) and from this union they have five blessed and highly favored children Khalil (crown, wealth), Nia (purpose), Nehemiah (God’s comfort), Nathan (God’s gift) and Naomi (God’s delight). Pastor Ron is also the proud Father-in-Law of Marquel A. Jones and grandfather to Lanii Sky Jones. They are affectionately known as “The Tribe called Jones”. Pastor Ron’s mantel is to preserve the posterity of the family; and his desire is that when it is all said and done that, he will hear the words “WELL DONE my son, you have served The Kingdom and your family WELL”.
A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and all things Philly. He retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of faithful service. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (BUS/BIBL) from Liberty University and is currently working on his Master’s in Divinity.
Pastor Ron and Lady Rae have served in a myriad of ministry positions to include: Usher, Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Sunday School and Bible Study Teachers, Mentors, Counselors, Coach, Outreach Ministry, Youth Ministry Leaders, Intercessory Prayer Leader, Associate Pastor etc. They have used the Power of 2 to glorify God for over 20 years. Pastor Ron has also served in many pastoral capacities beginning In November 1999, when he was installed as Senior Pastor of Agape Fellowship, Naples, Italy where he served for five years and has called that assignment “The most challenging but fulfilling and rewarding task of my life”. He has served as Lay Pastor for McGuire AFB, NJ as well as serving as Interim Pastor of Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Church in Philadelphia, PA. while simultaneously serving as Associate Pastor at New Life Anointed Ministries (The Life) in Woodbridge, VA under the leadership of Bishop Reeves.
Pastor Ron has been the Executive Pastor of The Life since 2012. It has come full circle as Pastor Ron and Lady Rae have served faithfully under the leadership wing of Bishop Eugene Reeves and Lady O as their spiritual parents for 25 years.
As committed servants to the Lord the best advice we can give to anyone serving in the Kingdom is simply this:
“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
